Covid/Illness Disclaimer

As we all well know at this point, with covid it is impossible to predict the future or all possible occurrences should covid decide to impact our programming. The policies below are written to give you a sense of how we will orient to an interruption in our programs due to covid or any other illness.

  • Participation is at your own risk. If you get sick and are unable to complete the program, we will not offer a refund and you are responsible for any travel and financial impact you might experience as a result.

  • If we choose to postpone or reschedule a program, you are also responsible for the travel and financial impact you might experience as a result. Because of this, please weigh the impact of the possibility of postponement/rescheduling before you sign up, especially if you are not local to Boulder/Denver.

  • Depending on the current circumstances, we may require testing prior to the start of a program. Masks will not be required in any circumstance but participants are welcome to wear one. For our outdoor programs, we can accommodate social distancing. Please do know however that there will be certain exercises and practices that are not social-distancing friendly.

Prior to a Program

  • If a facilitator gets sick prior to the program starting, it is possible that we will move forward with fewer faculty members or postpone the program to another date.

  • If you are sick prior to a program starting, whether it’s covid or another illness, we ask that you not attend, and we will not offer a refund.

During a Program

  • For outdoor programs: If any faculty or participant falls ill during the program, we will proceed with the program, without the sick person

  • For indoor programs, we will work together to find an emergent way forward, which could include continuing in some way, rescheduling, or reconfiguring the program.
